Scott Barkley - Owner/President

Hi, my name is Scott Barkley and I’m the owner of Bio Decon Solutions. I started this company while working as a security officer at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way in Jan 2013. God has given me the spiritual gifts of protecting and helping people. Those spiritual gifts, mixed with an cast iron stomach and hard work ethic has given me the gumption to start and continue growing in this field.

I love helping people. I love getting clutter out of people's homes and properties and I love that it doesn't bother me cleaning up biohazards.

I grew up in Spokane, WA, went to Western Washington University and have been in to the Puget Sound area since I graduated in 2007. I got married to my beautiful wife, Melissa, in 2016 and have twin daughters, Sophie and Makayla.

Our Mission Statement

Bio Decon Solutions quickly addresses clutter, removing junk and remediating biohazards in homes, businesses and properties with integrity and compassion to restore peace in people’s lives.

Our Core Values

1. Client-Focused

Our clients are the reason we exist. Many people who call us are in crisis and/or facing urgent timelines. We respond quickly and work efficiently so our clients can have a safe and peaceful home, avoid evictions, get the home repairs they need and invite friends and family over.

2. Compassion

We meet every client with compassion and without judgment. Whether it’s a hoarding situation, homeless camp, crime scene or biohazard cleanup, we treat people with dignity and respect during some of their hardest moments.

3. Transparency

We believe in honest, upfront pricing. Our cleanups are quoted as a single, all-inclusive price before work begins. No per-truckload or per-day fees that reward slower work. In instances where damage can’t always be fully assessed in advance, we provide a clear price list and communicate openly as the work becomes clear.

4. Perseverance

We don’t quit until the job is done right and our client is satisfied. If it takes extra time, extra visits, or extra effort, we show up and finish what we start. Every time.

5. No Fear

No cleanup is too big, too overwhelming or too unpleasant. From needles and human waste to hoarding and trauma scenes, we handle the jobs others refuse to do.

6. Enjoy the Work

We take pride in what we do and we keep a sense of humor (of course, not at the expense of our clients) along the way. Finding satisfaction and humor in tough, dirty work helps us stay motivated and deliver better results for our clients.
